New Year's Resolution and Best and Worst

One of my new year's resolutions is to document more.  I'm hoping to take more pictures and post a picture and a brief description of the day.  Although this is being posted today, in my defense, I wrote most of it and took the picture yesterday.  So here we go.

One of our family traditions, although it doesn't happen every day, is a game we like to play at dinner time.  It's called Best and Worst.  I guess it's not really a game.  It's been a good way for us to talk about our day and talk about good and hard things that happened that day.  All we do is take turns telling everyone the worst thing that happened to them that day and the best thing that happened to them that day.  So, for the first day of the year, we ate dinner over at Grandpa Dan and Grandma Nancy's house.  I forgot to have us do best and worst during dinner, so we did it afterward.  Here's what was said:

*Addi- Worst- I fell on my nose while I was running at Grandma's house.  Best- I got a new teacher, Brother and Sister Beatty.
*Sammy- Worst- I was just not feeling happy after dinner. Best- My new teacher, Sister Reid, is very nice.  If you bring your scriptures, you get a treat.
*Kimball- Worst- My lip has been hurting all day from where Breesa whacked me with a play pot.  Best- I really liked the meat we had for dinner.  We had a pork roast.
*Grandma- Worst- We were late for church.  Best- I had a great night's sleep.  We found out our grandkids were coming over for dinner.
*Grandpa- Worst- Getting out of bed, my body hurt all over.  But I got up anyways.  Best- Sacrament meeting was really good.  Jonathan Sandberg gave a great talk as did the youth.  There was a real strong spirit there.
*Dad- Worst- Leaving the family to go to meetings wasn't very fun.  Best- Sunday School was really good.  It was about offices and church organization.  Revelations 19:10.
*Mom- Worst- I'm super sore from a killer workout yesterday.  Best- Hannah didn't poop up her back today.  I had a great dinner with my family and Grandma and Grandpa.

May I just say that I think Hannah looks pretty darn chunky in this picture.  Don't get me wrong, she is pretty darn chunky, but this picture shows it all.  Holy Thighs!

Just for an FYI, or more FMI (for my information), the kids got new teachers today in Primary.  Addi got Brother and Sister Beatty.  Sammy got Sister Reid.  Kimball had a substitute.  There isn't a teacher for his class yet.  Addi and Sammy both enjoyed their new teachers.  Before church today, Addi kept saying, "I can't believe I'm in the 4-5 year old class."  She thought she was pretty cool.
