The Best Train Track Ever

Kimball was off playing with cousins today. So, while Addi took her nap, Sammy and I bonded creating the greatest train track we've ever built. It took quite a bit of time and a lot of patience on Sammy's part (which he had a lot of), but we conquered. Here is our masterpiece:

We love these Fisher Price trains. We have four that use remotes (as you can see in the close-up of Sammy), and Sammy got the plane this year for Christmas. I'll tell you, I have as much fun if not more than the boys when playing with these trains. They have been worth every penny we've spent on them.
I love this picture of Sammy. It shows his mild case of OCD. He has to have all the train remotes nicely lined up for easy access. So cute.

By the time we finished creating the track, we didn't have much time left for playing. We had only enough time to learn that we need five people manning the trains and plane in order to keep them from crashing. Oh, but it sure was fun.

We haven't cleaned it up yet. We've got to leave it up for at least a couple of days to get good use out of it.
Holy cow!!! That is quite a project. You definitely should get "super mom" points for that one! Sammy looks so proud :-) So cool!

Either Addi takes good naps or you work fast (or both). Sweet tracks.

Oh Amanda, my Cade would DIE to play with that! He is a train FANATIC! He's all over the Thomas and Friends thing. We have just about EVERY SINGLE ONE! plus the train set and table. But our set is always in a broken up mess and just thrown all over the train table.

Wow! Impressive. I will have to show my Matt the photos. He is our king of builing and would truly appreicate it. And that is true love on your part to leave it up, while it is incredible, it is never easy to have to step over tracks through your family room.

Hope you had a great Christmas and New Years!
