Windsor

It's been over a week since they left, but my sisters, Amber and Lindsey, were here in England with us for a few days at the beginning of November. It was a little crazy at our house. Amber had Anna and Sophia with her, and Lindsey had Ava and Christian with her. So for a few days we had six children all under the age of 4 here at the house. Kimball and Sammy loved playing with their cousins. It was nice for them to be together, especially since they won't be for Christmas.

Amber arrived late Halloween night. On Thursday morning, I had a doctor's appointment in Slough, so we decided to go to Windsor afterwards, which is on the way home. Clark, Amber, Kimball, Sammy, Anna, Sophia, and I packed into our compact 7 seat car and headed off.

Windsor is a darling little city which is famous for Windsor Castle. It is the largest inhabited castle in the world and the oldest in continuous occupation. It is an official residence of the Queen and she spends many weekends there. It truly was beautiful.

Kimball, Sammy, and Anna sitting in a niche that used to be used for war. Soldiers would point their bows and arrows through the slit toward the enemy.

What a treat to have family come to visit when you are SO far away from home. I love that your boys enjoyed spending time with their cousins and that you got to visit beautiful Windsor. I watched the movie The Queen a few months ago, so it was really fun to see the shots you had taken.

You look amazing and no one would guess you were almost 9 months along. It's hard to believe that your due date is so close. I am glad your mom is coming out (or she might be there already). What an experience for all of you to have a baby in England!
