Lost Tooth #5

It's been a year and a half since Kimball lost his first tooth (the first sign that your baby is growing up- so sad).  Since then, he's lost all four of his front bottom teeth.  A couple of weeks ago he lost his first top front tooth.  This, again, is very sad for me.  In the past years I remember seeing kids whose top teeth were growing in and I thought they looked so funny.  Their teeth are so big for their little mouths.  Now it's Kimball's turn.  He's so excited about losing his tooth, but it makes me sad.  It's almost like some of his sweet innocence leaves with the departure of each tooth.  I guess I just have to get used to him growing up.  Thankfully I can capture these moments on camera for me to remember and to share with the world.

There's something about a kid with a missing front tooth, it cracks me up!

Just an FYI, Kimball was 3 months shy of 6 years old when he lost his first tooth.  Sammy just turned 6 and doesn't even have a wiggly tooth.  He wants to lose a tooth really bad, poor thing.  I say, "Keep them in Sammy, I'm not ready for you to grow up".

I can't believe how much your children have grown. Kimball looks so cute with his missing teeth:)
