To Prague and Home
It's funny how quickly a place can become a home. We just returned from a week in Prague, and I have to say it's good to be back. We've only been in our home here in Bracknell for a month, but it already feels like home. It was nice to walk into the house and everything be familiar.
Not the best of pictures. But it really was amazing.
I could write all of the details of the places we went and the things we saw, but I'd be here a while. I'm going to post all of the pictures up on our family website, which is listed off to the side of my blog. If you'd like to see them all, go there (but wait a day or so, it might take me that long).
We had a great trip. Kimball and Sammy loved playing with their cousins Anna and Sophia. It was definitely worth the trip. It was great having Amber as our tour guide. She knew just how to do everything and she speaks Czech pretty well, which I was grateful for. The week was fun-filled, but it's also nice to be back.
Our Prague trip was great. Clark and I went with the kids last Wednesday. Clark had to leave early on Sunday for a work convention in Spain, which is where he is now. The boys and I stayed until today.
The first couple of days there it rained, and rained, and rained. We even had to cancel some of our plans on Friday because of the rain. It didn't stop us on Thursday. It was quite the adventure, but we managed to do a few things despite the weather. A few pictures to demonstrate.

The view from Prague Castle. Can't you just feel the cold? It sure is beautiful though.

Those are just a few pictures of the first day out and about in Prague. Although it was cold and rainy, it sure was amazing. The city is so old, and with the weather the way it was made it seem mystique. Clark loved Prague Castle. While we were inside, someone was tuning the organ (which happens to be Clark's favorite instrument). I guess we were lucky to be hearing it, because Amber, my sister who lives there and has been there many times, said she has never heard the organ being played while she was there. Clark enjoyed it so much he made me take a few pictures of the organ.
