To answer the following questions:
1. The Best thing you cooked last week? Oh, cooking in the UK is just not the same. We don't ever eat out, so I cook almost every night. Yes, it gets a little old. Let's see, we had the missionaries over on Monday and I experimented with Chicken and Rice. I know, sounds easy, which normally it is, but you never know how it's going to turn out here. Well, it turned out quite alright. At least I enjoyed it, and the missionaires ate everything on their plates. Some other recent successes, Pork Sausage with cabbage and potaotes, Chicken bowtie pasta, and Taco Salad.
2. If money, time, and babysitting were no option, where would you go and with whom? I'm also assuming that in this spectacular situation, I would not be pregnant. We'll just say that's the case. Cheryl's European cruise sounds like a great idea, Clark and I have yet to be on a cruise. But I think we would like to hang out around here in Europe. We've been to Prague which we both loved, but Clark really hasn't been anywhere else. I absolutely loved Germany, Berlin in particular. So we would go there, and I'd have to go back to Salzburg, Austria and swim in the lakes of the Alps. I'd also visit Vienna, because I didn't get there last time I was in Europe. We'd definitely visit Italy. Ever since my humanities class at BYU-Hawaii, I've always wanted to see the Sistine Chapel and see the Pieta. For some reason I don't care too much about France, but maybe we'd go there for a day or two. I could definitely do Amsterdam again, as long as I could go on a canal tour and eat some pofertjes (sp?). I loved that place. Clark and I would visit some of the interior of England and Scotland. We would have to go to Spain and Portugal. At each of these places we'd most like to do a session in each of the temples. That would probably be the most rewarding experience.
3. When was the last time you cried? I think it was two weeks ago. I woke up at about 7am having some contractions. I've been having them for weeks now, but these felt real and hurt really bad. So the pain along with the thought of having a very pre-mature baby was a little overwhelming, and yes, I cried.
4. Five things you were doing this month, 10 years ago? Well, let's just say it's a good thing Cheryl remembers, because I was doing some of the same things she was. I was in the first co-hort semester of the BYU elem ed program, with an amazing group of girls that I loved. We had the funnest time in our classes. I was teaching at Larsen Elementary in Spanish Fork with the co-hort, where my 4th grade teacher, Mr. Lidiard, was now the principal. I was living at my parents house in Provo. I believe in the month of October was when I turned in and received my mission call to Belo Horizonte, Brazil. That's about it, or all I can remember.
5. Five things on your to-do list today. I don't really have to-do lists, especially here in England. Today I needed to get up to make Dutch Babies and Smoothies for our company coming over for breakfast. Next was to play with the kids while Clark cleaned the kitchen. Don't I have a great husband? Then, after lunch, put myself and the boys down for a nap while Clark packed for an event he was going to. After naps, read a little in my book (I'll be blogging more about that later, it's a good one). Then, take Clark to the train station. Not the most exciting of days, but we enjoyed it.
6. Five favorite snacks. Should these be while I'm pregnant, or when I'm eating healthy? I'll do a little of both. Blast O' Butter popcorn and Peanut M&Ms are high on list. Almonds. Natural Cheetos, which they don't have here in England. Choclairs, a candy I discovered in Prague. Kinder bars, another chocolate treat I discovered in Prague. Fruit, we've been eating a lot of fruit here in England.
7. Five Bad Habits. Dr. Pepper, definitely the worst. Biting my nails, which isn't often. Blogging when I should be playing with the kids. Being critical of my family. I know I'm terrible, but I like to think it's not as bad when I'm not pregnant. Impatience. My old bishop used to call me the microwave queen. He said he could just see me standing at the microwave tapping my toe waiting for the small amount of time to be up. That's how impatient I am.
8. Five Favorite Foods. Different from snacks, huh? Bajio's burrito with lime chicken, mexican rice, barbeque beans, corn salsa, and a little vinagrette dressing. I went to a top ten steakhouse in NY called Bobby Vans. I've had some pretty good steak in my life, but nothing will compare to that of Bobby Vans. It was amazing. Luckily my dad was there with me to pay the bill. I actually had some really good food in Czech, snitzel (sp?) was great, so was the fried Edam cheese. We went to a great, expensive restaurant there, and I can't remember what I had, but it was divine. Then of course I love a good Costco Hot Dog, or a J-Dawg.
9. Five Places I've Been. I listed a lot of the European places already. Maine (love it there), the Virgin Islands, Hannover (Germany), Kauai, Hong Kong (although I don't remember much of it).
10. Five Favorite Memories.
My wedding day, in particular, our sealing (it was amazing).
The birth of the boys. It was perfect, I'll take the delivery over the pregnancy any day.
The day I got my mission call, and many things that happened on my mission. So I'll say my mission in general.
Starting a christmas tradition with my little family last year making a gingerbread train.
Going to Grandma Shill's house in Arizona. Growing up, and even still. We love visiting AZ.
I'm not going to tag anyone specific, but this was kind of fun. If you'd like to do it, I'd love to read it.

I loved reading all about you. I do feel like I know you quite well, but I was still suprised and laughing at your answers. The bishop's quote about the microwave had me laughing out loud. Your European trip sounds like so fun and I'll have to try to tag along too. You've seen more of Europe than me.
Of course I have such fond memories of our time together in Hawaii and then at BYU. We were stuck together like sisters and I wouldn't have had it anyother way, except that you left me alone in the cohort when you went on your mission, but I did understand.
It good to know that things don't change and that you still love Dr. Pepper and steak. Those to things equal Amanda to me.
I too would have cried over contractions and I have done so many, many times during my 2nd and 3rd pregnancies. I was so stressed out about them. I knew I could handle the babies when they came, but the pregnancy and getting them all here safely nearly drove me mad!
Thanks again for sharing. I loved it all and was sad there weren't more questions to read.
Have a great day!
Love,
Cheryl
