Pull-ups at 34 Weeks
I've been working out consistently since I found out I was pregnant. I'll be honest, it hasn't been easy. And instead of working out 4-6 times a week like I used to, I usually get into the gym 2-3 times a week. But movement is movement, right? It's better than not working out at all. There are many exercises that I used to do that I can no longer do, but the one I've tried hard to keep is my pull-ups. Granted, I used to be able to 10-15 pull-ups in a row, and I could get most of those chest-to-bar. So last week, at 34 weeks, I was still able to do 2 pull-ups in a row. I'll admit, it is a little painful, so I usually only practice one at a time, and my chin barely gets to the bar, but it's a pull-up nonetheless. I figure that if I can do pull-ups having gained 25 pounds, my pull-ups will be a breeze after having the baby and after losing the weight I've gained.
