CrossFit
For those who have been around me in the past eight months, or if you've seen my updates on Facebook, you know that I am dedicated to CrossFit. If you'd really like to know what CrossFit is, you can click on the link. For now, I'll just say it's the best workout program I've ever seen. In fact Clark and I are slightly obsessed with it. We do CrossFit workouts (wods), 4-5 times a week. I've enjoyed it so much that I will be going to get my Level 1 Training Certificate. Our gym recently started a CrossFit kids class which Kimball and Sammy are attending. At the end of September, I will be going to a CrossFit Kids Certification so that I can help teach these classes. I can't even tell you how excited I am.
There are so many reasons why I love CrossFit, but the main reason is because it is empowering. I am doing things now that I didn't know I could do, and never thought I'd be able to do them. For example, in March, after doing CrossFit for three months, I learned how to do pull-ups. The following is a video of when I first learned how. It was a struggle to do the eight I did in the video.

Now, five months later, although I still can't do a ton in a row, I do them everyday. I've even done workouts where we've done 100 of them. How many people do you know that can do 100 pull-ups? It's awesome.
I can't imagine my life without CrossFit.
Here are a few pics of the kids doing a CrossFit class.

I think this is my third trip to England and I choose to stay in the Hilton every time because it has the exercise equipment that I need to do the workouts.
I'm really proud of you Amanda, I hope today and tomorrow are really fun for you and that you learn a lot. I know you'll do great!
